“Queen’s Bath” was taken at a location entitled Queen’s Bath located in Princeville, Kauai. The location is known as a place that should not be taken lightly as 27 people have died due to the ocean conditions. The large area is called Queen’s Bath because among the long stretch of lava rocks a natural formation of a bathtub was formed where people can bathe at low tide. This image was captured with a shutter speed of 1/8000 to freeze the water that had just crested over the rocks. The picture was taken late in the afternoon so that the sun was behind to get the best lighting.
