I do teach and I love to teach photographers about how to improve their photography skills. As  professional photographer and professional educator my passion is teaching and photography so it’s a good fit.

Eagleye Photography Inc., Welland, ON                                                          2007 – Present

President / Lead Photographer

  • Create digital and marketing content via social media, print, video tutorials, and graphics
  • Travel and provide professional photography services for clients all over North America
  • Grow business from 4 weddings/yr and 1 photographer to 35+/yr and 5 photographers
  • Develop branding footprint through photo, video, print, and web for a NPO organization
  • Build web-based and video based training videos in photography and Adobe Lightroom


Dundas Valley School of Art, Dundas, ON                                                          2014 – 2016

Photography Instructor

  • Teach groups of 4 – 10 adults and teens introduction and advanced digital photography
  • Develop all course material and teach classes in photography and Adobe Lightroom
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to help students learn their digital SLR cameras
  • Evaluate material to ensure it is up to date and relevant to course objectives

Niagara College, Niagara-on-the-Lake                                                           2017 – Present


  • Teach Professional Selling to 80+ students in their first-year of post-secondary business
  • Engage in sound pedagogical teaching via differentiated learning and media recordings
  • Develop and contribute to course curriculum including building assignments & exams
  • Assess students using a rubric that facilitates learning and meets academic standards

Photography Instructor

  • Teach 3 – 10 adult digital photography classes per month (beginner to advanced)
  • Evaluate student progress during the course and confirm student understanding
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies during instruction to teach the material
